washington draft horse and mule association

The WDHMA is dedicated to promoting the use of draft horses in the state of Washington. These uses include showing, breeding, farming, logging, competitive weight pulling, commercial carriage services, and many others. Throughout the year we participate in field days, parades, clinics, and hold the popular annual Washington Draft Horse and Mule Extravaganza in Monroe.

Whether you are an admirer of draft horses or veteran teamster, there are many draft horse events to enjoy throughout the year in our state. We invite you to join the Association by printing out a Membership Form and mailing it with your dues to the Association Secretary/Treasurer. Your dues help fund the events that the WDHMA sponsors and promotes, as well as the scholarship we award each year.
